The Internet can be a powerful tool for a good cause, but it can also be power for bad. Negative content t can be harmful to people or their business, whether as criticism, blogs or posts. When content appears, there are several players involved. To remove harmful content about you or your company from the Internet may involve the author of the content, the website operator, the website host, and the search engine.

It would help if you had complete control over what is published on your companies’ website. If you find any harmful content in the form of comments or links containing undesirable content about your business, you can delete them.

If you have a Google account, it will be easy to use web tools to monitor your website. They provide tools that can alert you and help find the information other people are posting on your website. The search alert notifies you via email when somebody uses your data on the Internet. You can also use the tool to create your Google profile, which will help you control the information others can see in Google search.

Pushing out the harmful content is another effective strategy and an ideal tool for proper online reputation management. Most consumers don’t look past page one of the search result. If you can fill the first few pages with positive information’s about your company, most visitors will never see the harmful content.

If you are not able to prohibit the harmful content, use reverse SEO.to make it less visible

If harmful content appears on a website that your company does not control, you can contact the content writer or the publisher. Approach them in a friendly way to see if they will be willing to pull down the content or edit the content to make it less harmful. If it’s a bad review, you can ask the writer what they think is appropriate to fix the problem.

Another option is to talk to the search engine administrator who gave you the wrong search results. Some data may conflict with the terms of the Google search engine. For example, Google does not allow the publication of financial information about individuals or their businesses. If Google feels that the content written about you or your company violates their terms, they may not delete it from the source website since Google does not have ownership rights. However, the malicious information will not appear in your search results.

If you would like to suppress a bad link, the following methods will be useful:

  • .Optimize th.Set up a new profile and make sure you are active on it
  • e already existing content on  the website
  • Publish some expert insight in the professional site
  • Publish other types of media like images, videos, or podcasts.
  • Post excellent content on your company website

It can be frustrating to have harmful content about your company on a public site. However, some of the content can be obliterated from the site or suppressed by positive content. Depending on the type of content and the magnitude of the damage it is causing to your reputation, Google can be beneficial in the process.
