Moving into a new city means you start from square one, with a major change in environment, the surroundings, and being in a place where you don’t know anyone yet. Here are some tips to meet new people after moving to a new city.

Break the ice with your neighbors

Once you’ve settled in your Lentor Central Residences unit, it’s time to familiarize yourself with the community. Take a chance to get to know your neighbors and have a small chat. A way to do this is by holding a housewarming party and inviting them into your space. Making a good impression goes a long way in developing a friendship and bond with them.

Join a Social Club

Joining a social club is a good idea to make new friends because these clubs are made for people looking to meet new people. Sign up for a book club, craft guild, community theater, dance, art, or culinary classes. It opens doors to friendships and unique, exclusive experiences to enrich your social life.

Meet people with a similar hobby as you

People with the same hobby as you will be easier to befriend because grounds are already made based on the activity you both like. You can freely talk about it and you may learn new information about the hobby you never knew about until now, gain new skills, and even do the hobby with them and double the fun!

Make new friends voluntarily

You can approach people when walking your pet or exploring condo amenities. Create new connections by volunteering in a service like preparing chicken soup where you serve food to orphans, or helping clean an animal shelter. You get to meet new friends with the same interests and talk about the things you care about.
