Artificial intelligence (AI) is inescapable. Due to AI, nearly every industry is transforming its processes and adapting its behaviors. ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot help individuals create, edit, and analyze content. This makes it easier for marketers, researchers, editors, and writers to create compelling content or summarize lengthy articles. Leaders can rely on AI-driven data tools to make better decisions for themselves and their businesses.

On a personal level, chatbots, web searches, and voice assistants are all fairly common use cases of AI. But now that AI is becoming more mainstream, what else can this revolutionary technology do? Here are four AI use cases you haven’t thought of yet.

1. Help Car Dealers Secure Leads and Close Deals

Buying a car is a major milestone. It’s not a decision that many people take lightly. Unsurprisingly, most consumers will be conducting their own research and going to several car dealerships before making a purchase. They’ll have questions that they want answered and will want to take a few cars on test drives to see what they like.

Managing all of these potential leads can be quite overwhelming to dealership staff. It’s hard to know who is really serious about buying and who is just there to browse. Powered by AI, automotive sales software can follow up on all inquiries, freeing up staff to focus on those currently at the dealership. Potential consumers’ questions can be answered and appointments can be scheduled without the need for any human interaction. Once a lead is solidified, then the appropriate staff member can take over to get the buyer what they want and close the deal.

2. Optimize Farming Agricultural Practices

The weather forecast is calling for rain, but will it actually rain? And will the rain be enough for the crops to thrive? Are the approaching below-freezing temperatures worth me pulling up immature produce? These are the types of questions agricultural farmers ask themselves daily. Weather forecasts are not always predictable, which can be detrimental to people like farmers whose livelihood depends on it.

Although AI can’t change the weather, it can help optimize agricultural practices so farmers can make more informed decisions. AI can look at real-time weather data and historical information to provide insights on irrigation, planting times, pest removal, and even crop variety selections. By using machine learning algorithms, AI can take data from a variety of sources including weather stations, satellite imagery, and field sensors. These insights can improve crop yields while also minimizing environmental impact by reducing wasted water usage and unnecessary fertilizer applications.

3. Recommend Personalized Learning for Students

Younger generations are quick adapters to technology, and the rise of AI is also seeping its way into the classroom. While many may assume that AI-integrated learning can be detrimental to students, there are many advantages. Students can receive educational content that is tailored to their specific learning needs. For teachers with larger class sizes, this can help ensure that every student is getting exactly what they need to succeed.

For instance, if a student has dyslexia, a basic reading and writing assignment may be extremely challenging. While some students in the class may breeze through the task, others may struggle and get easily frustrated. AI can detect which students may need a bit more handholding by analyzing student data, including reading pace. From there, it can recommend another assignment or lead the child through the exercise step-by-step.

Other benefits of AI are that it allows for 24/7 tutoring and real-time feedback. This helps complete homework and ensures that students understand the materials. If a child is completing a math problem incorrectly, then AI can correct them and show them the right method. This way the entire assignment doesn’t go to waste and the child receives personalized help with it.

4. Conduct Medical Diagnoses

One space that is really seeing a difference due to AI is healthcare. Advances in machine learning have made it possible for AI to detect abnormalities more quickly. AI can scan medical images and past health data to identify and help diagnose diseases. While doctors can perform these tasks, AI can sometimes recognize an unusual sign faster. This can make all the difference in diagnosing life-threatening conditions such as cancer.

AI may also suggest more tailored treatments based on past reciprocity of other medications. After scanning through patient information along with available treatment options, AI can put forward a treatment based on their unique case. It can also predict how a patient will react to a treatment solely on their reciprocity in the past.

Of course, AI cannot take the place of a medically trained professional. The technology is still too new for it to do the job of a doctor, however, it can speed up the process. As medical research

expands so too will the capabilities of AI in terms of diagnosing and treating individuals.

Conclusion

Although it may feel like AI is transforming our lives today, it’s really just the beginning of it. How we live and go about our day-to-day lives is sure to be altered by this unparalleled technology. This is an exciting time for everyone in nearly every field and industry, and yet it can also be scary to be heading into the unknown.

When using AI, remember that it is just a tool. Data analysis, content suggestions, and predictions should be analyzed thoroughly before any key decisions are made. Thinking of AI as a helper or assistant is a good standard as we all continue to learn and grasp its full capabilities.
