Back in the day, online shopping was considered a novelty. Today, almost all of us make our purchases online via platforms like eBay, Amazon, or several other e-commerce websites. It has led to a surge in the popularity of smartphone and online business. So, now instead of booting the computer, and waiting for the age-old DSL modem to connect, consumers take their phones out and can reach their websites in just seconds. However, to ensure that your business thrives, you need to work towards improving your mobile marketing strategy. Surprisingly approximately 58% of the online traffic comes only from smartphones. So, if you have a web presence, but it is not mobile-friendly, you will fail to reach more than half of your customers. So, what can you do to improve the mobile marketing strategy? Here we have come up with a bunch of tips and tricks to help you get started.

Analyze your performance

Before doing anything, pick up your smartphone, and see how your site performs on the mobile. To know, open the browser of your phone, go onto the incognito mode, type the URL for your website, and see. It will give you an idea of how or what people see when they visit your site. Does your website have performance issues, such as slow loading time? If yes, be assured that it can drastically hamper your conversion rate.

Further, it can also drive mobile customers away. Mobile users usually expect the website to load in two seconds or less. If it does not, then they tend to close the browser and move to another site. So, if the person came looking for your product or service, you indeed lost out on that customer permanently. James, who designed an engineering homework help website, recently says that the best way to improve the loading time of the site is by deleting all the inactive plugins, which are using the resources. Further, you can also format the images, and host the videos only on Video-based platforms like YouTube. Do ensure that you check the performance regularly to warrant that your customers do not have any complaints.

Optimize the voice search

One of the best ways to bring more and more customers to your website is by doing the SEO of the website. With SEO, the customers reach your website on typing a keyword related to your site on Google. Today, even voice search-based SEO is soaring. Android and Apple smartphones have their voice assistants. A few people also have smart speakers, such as Alexa in their homes. The voice-search keywords are different from traditional SEO-based keywords. The SEO experts mostly opt for shorter keywords because consumers tend to type an average of three or at times four words when they are looking for something on Google.

On the other hand, with voice assistants, users usually ask a full-length question. It also changes the way things are communicated, but we do not speak and type in the same manner. So, it would be best if you took measures to include more precise answers to some of the topics that you cover. If done right, this strategy can get you the featured at the snippet spot, right at the top of the search page, and can dramatically boost your traffic.

Put up mobile-friendly content

Stacey, a mobile marketing expert with FineGrades, says that of course, how your site loads is important, but focusing on developing mobile-friendly content is also essential. It will ensure that people stay longer on your website. So, when you create sales pages, blog posts, or lead magnets, do note that half of the people will see your pages only through their smartphone. Thus, it would be best if you always wrote concise and short paragraphs, which are broken down into bullet points, headings, and images. There’s no quicker way to lose a visitor than putting in front of them a wall of text as soon as they visit your website. So, always opt for organized formatting and shorter paragraphs. It would mean that mobile users can scroll through rather quickly and scan your posts. It will also ensure that they read more of your written content, visit your business more than a few times, and engage with the CTA.
