When looking for the best place to live, many people dream of a warm climate, gentle sunshine and a comfortable atmosphere where they can enjoy life all year round. Moving to another country is not only a change of scenery, but also an opportunity to find the perfect balance between quality of life, affordable healthcare, safety and a pleasant climate. And there are quite a few options where this plan can be easily realized.

Portugal

Portugal is a country where life flows in its own, special rhythm. There are warm winters, gentle ocean and endless beaches that are perfect for surfing or just relaxing. Lisbon and Porto are cities with a unique atmosphere, where ancient streetcars and modern art spaces meet. And if you want privacy, the Algarve in the south of the country offers silence, stunning scenery and affordable real estate. Portugal is also famous for its hospitality and one of the easiest residence permit programs for foreigners.

Turkey

It’s easy to feel at home in Turkey: the locals are friendly and the expat community is growing. You can find everything from bustling metropolises with their vibrant nightlife and modern co-working spaces to cozy coastal towns where time passes slowly and the sea is always warm. Istanbul, for example, is not just a city, but a whole universe, where ultra-modern business centers are adjacent to cozy rooftop cafes with stunning views of the Bosphorus. The country attracts not only with its climate, but also with its affordable cost of living, including housing prices. Similar real estate overseas in Spain and France will cost much more than in Turkey.

Spain

Spain is always a place for joy: whether it’s a morning coffee in a cozy Barcelona café, a stroll through the narrow streets of Valencia or an evening with friends on the beach in Malaga. The climate in Spain is so diverse that everyone will find their perfect corner: from mild Mediterranean to warm Atlantic. It is also a country where it is easy to combine work and leisure: coworking centers overlooking the sea, affordable housing prices and developed infrastructure make Spain attractive for digital nomads and retirees.

Thailand

Thailand is filled with bright colors and pleasant surprises. Bangkok strikes with its contrast: skyscrapers, temples and bustling markets exist here in harmony. And if you want tranquility, islands like Phuket or Samui offer paradise beaches and cozy villas. Thailand attracts not only its climate, but also its affordable cost of living: for a small amount of money you can rent a house by the sea, eat in local cafes and enjoy life without unnecessary worries. It’s also a country where it’s easy to find a community of like-minded people: expats from all over the world choose Thailand to live and work in.

Mexico

Mexico combines the energy of big cities with the tranquility of coastal resorts. Mexico City is a cultural center with museums, galleries and a vibrant nightlife, while Cancun and Playa del Carmen offer ideal seaside living. Mexico is known for its warm climate, vibrant culture and affordable cost of living. Here you can find affordable accommodation, enjoy the local cuisine that has long been a global treasure, and feel part of a friendly community. Mexico also offers easy temporary residency requirements, making it an attractive place to relocate.
