The sun is getting hotter every year, and heat during the summer months has been gradually increasing. So it’s a no-brainer to invest and keep indoor plants in your Skye at Holland condo. Here are the best summer plants to decorate and cool your home.

Snake Plant

Snake plants are low-maintenance plants that have upright, green, sword-shaped leaves, making them perfect to place in any space that needs a touch of elegance. These uniquely shaped plants also are known to improve indoor air quality, absorbing toxins and purifying the air. Seeing these benefits, you can put them in places and spots that need cleaner air. They only require water every few weeks, making it well-suited for busy individuals.

ZZ Plant

ZZ plants are one of the best low-maintenance plants, as they require watering every 2-3 weeks and can tolerate very dry air. They are also known for their ability to survive despite neglect, which easily makes them ideal for those with packed schedules. This bold, tropical-looking plant with glossy, dark foliage can survive in almost any light condition. ZZ plants offer lushness to any space, so consider investing in them if you feel like you have bare spots in the condo.

Rubber Plant

Rubber plants are put on display in homes for their glossy and dark green leaves, and their tree-shaped characteristics. It can tolerate various light conditions, but mainly thrives in bright and indirect light. These striking plants are an excellent choice to add a bit of drama to your condo. Rubber plants only need watering at least once every 10 days.

Spider Plant

Spider Plants are a common and popular indoor plant as they have air-purifying abilities, making it a perfect addition to your condo. These easy-to-care-for plants can adjust to many light conditions and need watering only once a week. Spider plants produce offshoots, also called spiderettes, which can be later turned into new plants where narrow and strap-shaped leaves emerge to form a clump.
