The living room is one part of the house where you spend most of your day! From watching TV with your family to entertaining guests, this place witnesses a lot of activities. Because of its versatile nature, one should amp up their Living Room Wall Painting. There are two aspects that you should focus on while finalizing a look for your living room – light and wall texture. Poor lighting overshadows your newly painted walls and makes them look dull, and can make the living room cluttered.

We bring you some factors that you should keep in mind before making that exciting change:

1. Style

Are you someone who loves old-school glamour or you like to change with the trend and go all bold? This should form the basis of your planning process. Decide if you want to stick to the old-world charm or if you wish to go the modern way. Pick wall color and interior lights to match the theme you have decided on. For a traditional set up you should invest in vintage lights and LED lights for a modern touch.

2. Light Source

Analyze the amount of natural light that flows into your living room. Cheerful and bold colors like yellow, blue, lime green, red shine when the sunlight falls on them, on the other hand, if your living room doesn’t allow enough sunlight to flow in, then it’s best to stick to neutral colors or soft colors like millennial pink, grey, light azure, and egg white. You can use a surface panel LED lights along with general lighting to eliminate dark corners in your living room.

3. Upholstery and Art Work

Your living roomsofa prints, chair patterns, art on the wall are a major deciding factor for choosing the rights and lights. There are times when we have purchased our favorite printed sofa or got this acclaimed artwork, or a distinguished artifact, don’t take away it’s charm by overdoing the lights and color. Rather workaround that statement piece. Use focus lights to throw some light on your artwork on the wall. You can also use adjustive sconces beside your favorite sofa, you can shift the focus of the light from the sofa to your favorite artifact as well!

If you don’t have any such statement piece in your living room, then consider texture design painting. You can create your special white wall with waves texture, and then add focus light above it, voila! You have created a complete statement wall.

4. Cost-Effective and Maintenence

Living Room Wall Painting and choosing the right kind of light to highlight it need not be a costly affair. Explore your local market for some upbeat light pieces. These days there are several vendors available online who sell some exquisite lamps and shades. The height of your ceiling also plays an important role in the decision-making process.

A well-qualified interior decorator is updated with the recent trends in paints and lights. They will understand your vision and give an output that works well for your living room. Their perfection at work will give you the most satisfying results.

Mixing and matching the right shades of colors and lights can light up your living room like never before.
